The fries were so amazing. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Possibly the best I've had.
It's not the worst you could do for a resort sports bar. It certainly wouldn't survive without a captive resort audience though.
Ordered the nor'easter, Wings and wrecker burger. The drink was out fast but the wings even faster (less than 5 minutes) and they were warm at best .... glad I got what someone else sent back and left under a heat lamp. The slaw that came with them were the best part. The drink had none of the maple flavor described and the only thing that made it taste ok was the cinnamon from the Apple garnish.
Decent burger, nothing exceptional. Beer and food prices are criminal, but that's Marriott. One of the four bartenders was great. The other three did everything other than wait on customers.
The burger was slow to come out and looked and tasted store bought. Someone should also tell the chef what medium is. The tomato was mushy and flavorless. The onion fresh but flavorless, lettuce was good.
Ordered dock tacos .. pretty good, nothing too fancy, came with chips and salsa. Drinks were good. Has a large projector screen, great for game watching. Server seemed a little swamped with getting the food out for our group of 8. Had to get the attention of servers often to ask for missing items.
Have been coming to Wreckers for a few years everytime we stay at the Gaylord. Food was always good, service friendly but sometimes slow. Prices have gone up in recent years and I think they reduced the menu selection. Overall, still a great place to watch a game, grab a beer and some wings. Kid friendly as well.
The only really good part of the meal was the fries. Good flavor, crisp outside, soft inside.
