Prior to Hurricane Irma I contacted John at Affordable Roofing as I need some roof repairs done or a new roof. John advised that my roof was still good (very honest of him) and a repair would give my roof a new lease of life. After the hurricane has passed, I didn't expect to hear from him for a long time but lo and behold he rang to say that they would do the repair this week. They turned up when they said they would and carried out the work very efficiently. After a severe hail storm our home needed a new roof. I contacted Affordable Roofing by John Caldwell, Inc. John was in the area and came by my house within two hours. I told him the upgrades I wanted and showed him a small leak I had on the back edge of the roof. He gave me an estimate including my upgrades that I felt was very reasonable. I signed a contract and he sent his men out the next day to locate and temporarily patch my leak. The patch stopped the leak and within the quoted time period the roof was stripped , leak fixed permanently and I had a new roof. John and his whole crew were very professional and friendly. The job site was cleaned thoroughly and all debris hauled off. I was very pleased with everything and would recommend Affordable Roofing by John Caldwell, Inc.
Well, all work was done with a minimal amount of hassle for us. The quality of the work was amazing. For example, the roof felt had a multitude of the roofing nails with the big washers, almost as if there were too many nails if possible. I believe this is just John and his crew going overboard for quality. They are the best I've ever seen in this business.
