I love Aerosmith and I love roller coasters so this ride is a slam dunk for me. It is an indoor coaster with a lot of twists in the dark as you race in a limo past day glow signs to get the band to their concert on time. This is another ride that it is a bit tricky to get a fast pass for and you will want one. Book the pass as soon as you know you want to go to the park. If you are unable to get one this ride does have a single rider line. If you don't mind separating your group this is a great way to go. I saved about an hour off the wait time by using it and my daughter and I were done with the ride within 5 minutes of each other. This especially came in handy since the ride had broken down on the day I was there causing the wait time to inflate even more. This is one of the marquee not to be missed rides in Hollywood Studios.
This ride is an absolute blast! I've loved it ever since it was introduced over 10 years ago I think and it's been a favorite of mine ever since I was a teenager. It's a really neat concept the train is cool the fact that you've got two speakers right by your head in a subwoofer under your seat is awesome blaring music the whole way through the ride I think adds to the Excellence!
We were very impressed with this ride. First off Disney has really done a great job at getting people to, on, and off of the ride. We rode the ride two or three times while we were there. The ride is an indoor rollercoaster. It does flips and loops and at one point you actually do an upside down loop. Since it's inside most of the ride is in the dark with illuminated, flashing signs that race by. The music that is played is by Aero Smith. It's well worth the time and effort for the experience.
This was my first ever roller coaster, it was terrifying and fantastic all at the same time. At the beginning the coaster stops and pulls back, giving me time to contemplate the fact that I made a mistake making this my first ever coaster. Then it goes from 0 to 60mph in about 2-3 seconds and launches the coaster along the tracks making sharp turns, loops, corkscrews, and many other twists and turns. All the while a famous rock song plays in the background. (It was "Walk This Way" for me.) As soon as it's over the coaster comes to a stop and you get off and get to see your pictures and walk through the gift shop to the exit. It was fun.
Always loved this ride. Today my 6-year old was denied. 1/2" short. Great experience at all Disney parks this week but today is a let down, he has waited 6 months to ride this and was turned away. Check height requirements.
