Outdated Medical Equipment...One machine had tape holding the plug into it so it wouldn't become disconnected. Another machine looked like they had gotten it from a salvage yard, it had so many scratches and chipped paint. One machine looked to be from the 80's. How accurate are the results of outdated technology? Lobby looks nice, but offices need to be remodeled & equipment updated.
The staff were friendly from start to finish. This center was busy, they handle with it efficiency. One downside of the center is that they took them 3 days to realize that the doctor had sent them authorization. I had to be on top of them to complete the necessary work from scheduling to getting the prior authorization from the insurance. I would also mention, Marilyn was great throughout the process.
This office provided a professional and comfortable experience. The technicians were caring and professional. The reception staff are efficient and the wait time was minimal. I was able to get results from my Dr. The next day.
Dirty, no travel pay processing. Doctor is outstanding, nurse is out standing, phlebotomist it outstanding.
While the details of the tests are not still fresh in my mind, my problem with this place is the billing and lack of communication between the local office and the billing, currently done by a third party in South Carolina.
In January 2017, I had some tests done and paid the requested co-pay at that time. It was subsequently determined that I paid too much and was due a refund of $17.29. In February, i was assured that the refund was being processed. I cannot fault Jenny, in the local facility's billing department, as she was wonderful about trying to get my refund processed. Several months passed and I would call Jenny once in a while to check on the refund. Today is the last time I will bother trying. Jenny told me that there were some changes in the billing agency's structure and provided me with the name and phone number of a specific person to discuss this with. This phone number constantly rang busy. I am throwing away all the paperwork and notes regarding this refund. It is not worth the time and frustration to try to get $17.29. If they need the money that badly, they are welcome to it. Of course, I will never return to that office, or any InMed office, for medical tests. I hope that other people will carefully consider going to that Kissimmee Outpatient Center because if there is any problem with billing, the patient will surely be the loser. Today is Aug. 29, 2017.
