This past weekend, I brought my 3-year-old son to the pediatric ER because he had a fall and split his forehead open. I had seen that Osceola Regional has very short wait times, so I texted the number on their website to find out what it was at that time. The text said 2 minutes, and it is very close to my home, so I took him there right away. We walked in to the ER, got checked in, and didn't even have time to sit down before we were taken directly to the pediatric emergency area.
I wish I could give 0 star. Plz don’t go there
In my view. This is a messed up institution.
I HIGHLY recommend going to Osceola Regional if your kids have an emergency!
But the way that person at the security check point has treated me sounds like a response for someone trying to get inside jail to get someone out.
This is the worst experience that we as a family we had in this hospital. My mom got transfer from Poinciana Medical here on Monday with a biliary Obstruction with a diagnosis . After two days here she turns yellow . A GI doctor from the area came Monday afternoon and order an specific MRI test and it was done on Wednesday. Lots a residents and attending making diffaren't decisions and my mom is worst. And on top of that she was move from ER stage 2 to Cardiovascular Decision Unit waiting for a room Tuesday Morning and we still here . No bathroom for a shower and no hot water....This place is ridiculous. And the head nurse in this department is as lazy she can be. And on top of that very rude. We still here . Tomorrow finally the procedure finally after four days here and my mother is 82 yrs old. After this no more Osceola Regional...no compassion for the elderly.
My son needed his wound glued together. The doctor was so quick and helpful, and had great suggestions for keeping him happy and distracted while she fixed him up. She even sang all the songs from his favorite TV show! I kept track of the time and it only took 21 minutes from the moment we walked through the doors to the time she was completely done treating him. Then, we just waited about 10 more minutes to complete paperwork. It was an amazing experience, and not nearly as stressful as other emergency and urgent care trips I've had!
I just came back from this supposedly hospital
He was so rude, and doesn’t know any thing about how to treat human beings.
I don’t feel that the employees are professional there. Nurses are not focusing in what they are doing, they are wondering and wandering.
My wife had severe abdominal pains. A doctor looked at her and said we need ultrasound to understand what is happening and we can't give painkillers as that might mask symptoms. We then waited for 4 hours for the ultrasound lady. By then she was already feeling better. Then they handed us $12,000. I paid my part of the due immediately and the rest was insurance companies obligation. The insurance company paid 7k. They also clearly said a procedure is not to be paid for in the Explanation of Benefits. They haven't been able to process that and keep sending me bills. Then they even sent that out to two collection agencies. All for bad tummy cramps.
Hubby was in here for a little over a week. Most of the nurses were decent and helpful, but we had some that totally need to go back to school, as they didn't seem to know math or how to figure out the medication orders. Don't even get me started on the "assigned doctor" for the hospital. He only came in once (that we are aware of) and that was to say that he was releasing the hubby...on a Sunday evening.....of a holiday weekend. Seriously?
