Please, save yourself and do NOT get a room here! I rented a room for here through Priceline. The entire experience was a nightmare. Within 10 minutes of being in our room, I had seen 2 completely different types of cockroaches. This picture here was the first one, and the second one, I kid you not, was too fast for me to get a picture of. The second one was a German cockroach. I walked over to the office to complain about my room and the man at the desk did not seem concerned at all. It was 1:00am when we finally got there to check in, and there was no manager working. He offered us another room, in the same building, like they wouldn't be in there as well. Not having many options, we checked out the room and didn't see anything. That obviously didn't mean they weren't there. we slept with all of the lights on hoping it would deter any of them from coming out, and left first thing in the am. Priceline and the hotel refused to refund us for the 3 nights i had paid for. I had to spend way more money than I had planned, and get rid of all of my stuff that i had brought into that room. Please, for the love of god just don't even do it. website will not let me post picture for some reason.
You know... Honestly, this was just as good as the All Star resort at Disney in its own less flamboyant way. Plenty of things to do in the area. Simple rooms without a lot of fancy bric-a-brac...
I went through TripAdvisor to book the room. When we got there the room I thought I was getting wasn't available. The staff called TripAdvisor to ask why they double booked the room. The staff then put us in a suite at no extra charge! It was perfect for a family of 5. The room was clean and anything we needed didn't care a bit to help. The shuttle to Disney world was great! I would stay here again. :)
The room was clean but looked dated. Tube TV, safe was on the wall but no door. Cabinets and bed frame were nice. Mattress was firm. They tried to fit a suite with hot tub, king bed, TV stand with a desk into a room made for two double beds. The room was a tight squeeze. For the price though you couldn't beat it for just a place to spend the night or two. After a few nights you may seem cramped.
I stayed at the location a few weeks ago, and I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews. I was thankful and relieved that we did not see one Cockroach or bug in the room. The linens were clean as was the room itself. We had little interaction with the staff but when we did , they were very courteous and helpful.
It was clean, but the facility is probably one of the older resorts in the area.
There's a pool and simple continental breakfast. And would you believe they have jet ski rentals?
