This is my 2nd experience with this company. The first time was many years and the service was great. So I went back to them again.
My husband and I bought a couch, love seat and recliner from there all 3 pieces recline. We placed our order on Oct. 22. It was ready for pick a couple weeks later in Nov. When the seats would recline, they would rub with different parts, which would have caused the material to wear. So we called FurnitureLand USA to have some one come look at it. David came out and determined that there was a manufacture defect and they would replace them. Weeks went by and we heard nothing from them. So I called and was told it would be in with in a couple weeks it was on back order. We waited a few weeks, received no calls, I called back. Spoke to David again. He told me that they were coming from China, but he wasn't sure what the hold up was, it would be a few more weeks. We spoke a few more times and at one point David offered us the set from the showroom floor. I made it VERY clear we would NOT accept showroom floor furniture. Then out of the blue he calls and tells me he will be delivering the new set. He comes to the house with another young man and they bring in the first piece. No box, or covering, just the chair. I ask the young man, where this furniture came from. He said "Oh, it was on the showroom floor." It was not the same pretty gray color that was sitting in our living room. It was dirty. Not stained just dirty from people sitting on it. When I asked David about it, he said oh, I don't know they load it, I deliver it. I told him he can take it RIGHT BACK to the truck and bring the other pieces back in my house. That I expected new furniture not show room furniture. I immediately called the company and told them this was unacceptable, I spoke to the Sales Associate Ramon who sold us the furniture. He said Oh, funny thing is that we have some one looking at that piece right now. I told him he did not have any one looking at, because they just tried to deliver the showroom floor pieces to my house. When I spoke to the Melvin, he told me that he was the owner of the location for over 30 years and took pride in good customer service. We FINALLY got our new furniture in Feb. Fast forward a few months. When you sit on the couch, the ends tip and make it feel as if you were going to get tipped right out of the couch to the floor. So we call David AGAIN. He comes out and sits on it, looks underneath of it walks around it in circles, sits on it again. Then determines that the cushions need replaced. That's why it seems to be as if you were going tip out of the chair. I said so what about how it wiggles from side to side, it should not be real loose like that. He said I am sure its the cushions, I will have our person that fixes those issues come out. They come from Tampa so it might be a couple weeks. He came out in May, as usual, I heard nothing back from him so I called yesterday. Only to be told that the company doesn't fix cushions that have softened. I told David the cushions are not any more soft now than they were when we bought the furniture. I asked him would he spend the kind of money that we have on a piece of furniture that when you sat in it, you felt like it was going to dump you out. Unbelievably, he said YES! For the record, there is nothing wrong with the cushions of the either couch. The problem is that all of the pieces are becoming very loose and they are going to break at some point. I hung up with David and called back asking to speak with the owner. I was then told Mark was in a meeting. Mind you a few months ago the OWNER was Melvin who owned the place for 30 years. So unless he retired, since I last spoke with him, they referred me to the wrong person. I was told a message would be left with Mark and he would get back with me. At this point, I have not spoken with mark.
